I completely agree. I loved a lot about this show- it is truly groundbreaking in many aspects and as a DFSA survivor it was so refreshing to see this portrayed for a larger and nuanced audience. However, it did often feel stretched beyond its depth- in 12 episodes I get the push to want to tackle multiple types of violations, but it’s just not enough, and stories get simplified and stereotyped. Very grateful for this piece!
